Hardened heart
Alone too long
Hurt so bad
Wrapped so tight in your shell
No room for love, for anyone
To feel, to share, to live
How do you bare it?
An empty existence
Unreachable, untouchable, unloved
You surround yourself with work, obligations
And fake friends
All to avoid the loneliness
Days are bearable
The nights endless
Your millions, meaningless
Unknown faces
In the end, alone
Always alone
You have passion
You share my joy
Eagerly absorbing
I gladly give it
To see you smile
To ease your loneliness
For a brief moment

About Lulu

I take pleasure in the simplest of things. But most of all I enjoy the stillness, there is so much I feel in it.

I like the descriptions and the circling back to a positive ending! Smiles, Robin

Glad you liked it, but it gets worse before it gets better. The sad part is it’s real life. There’s a part 2 and 3, much drama since the original and I’m drained of emotions and unable to complete my writings. I’m posting part 2 tonight. You’ll understand what I mean…
