In a dark room
Behind locked door
Rage awaits
You choose to ignore

For you it waits
In dreams it lives
It breathes to feed
On what you give

Fear visits nightly
It becomes routine
You take what you need
It’s there you feel serene

You gather it’s strength
To face the day
Courage from rage
Fear is held at bay

Last night I visited
There was no sound
Rage was gone
Nowhere to be found

I hear you whisper
You don’t need me
Fear is conquered
You are free

About Lulu

I take pleasure in the simplest of things. But most of all I enjoy the stillness, there is so much I feel in it.

It is good to keep rage at bay, so glad someone was able to be free of it! This was quite well written and expressed, Lulu!
