Ashes

You color my moods
Cloud my judgement
The balance has altered
And we are no longer equals
Happily cocooned in ignorance

I gladly gave myself
And control into your care
Hoping you’d honor the gift
And not wield it as a weapon
Using love as a tool
In a game of mastery
Submission
I became a fool

A love twisted
Distorted
I see the pattern
As the fog of bliss dissipates
How it slowly weaved around my walls
My defenseless

With eyes wide
I now hold the power
To stay
Or walk away

How the tables have turned
When loves’ words burned
To ashes
Scattered by control
That you no longer hold

About Lulu

I take pleasure in the simplest of things. But most of all I enjoy the stillness, there is so much I feel in it.
